Carpet heel pad

Does anyone know if the heel pad was a different style in the 82-84 birds as opposed to the 85-90 cars.

Yes, it was different. Unfortunately, I'm having a hard time digging up a picture of the first style. Hopefully somebody will chime in with a pic.
