I have a 91 and a 84, I was wondering if I can put the dash from the 84 into the 91, has anyone done this, if so does it bolt right in? Thanks for any help guys.

 

Why would you want to do this. The gauges would not be compatable at all and pose many problems becoming functional at all

 

So I can buy an aftermarket gauge cluster, the one with all the autometer gauges.

 

I think they make Autometer clusters for the late model dashes now. Check with Hawks

 

Thanks, I went to hawks third gen and found the dash cluster, I guess I should of looked harder!!!

ok just a heads up. i have the 87 iroc dash in my 91 rs and from what i was told from my brother (he put it in there) it doesnt bolt up right. u can do it but im not 100% sure how hard it will be. im ripping my dash out next weekend so i will let u know for sure if it doesnt bolt up right. and just to let you guys no. i have all of the 87 iroc cluster in my car and all of the gages work fine ecept the speedo but thats cuz my brother broke the needle off of it.
