I have a 86 TA and I'm getting ready to order new interior carpet and all new cloth trim (T Top,sales,sun visors,etc,)my rpo nos.are 7DB-Trim combination,cloth dark maple red (B)(91)and,
72C-Trim combination,cloth,dark Carmine (C) and 72I-Interior trim,Dark Carmine(91)
Does anybody know what the (B) and the (C) and (91) means.
Does the C mean carpet and the B means trim or visversa

 

i just used the third gen online rpo decoder, and got somethign completely different for 7DB

 

It could say 70B but it looks like 7DB,what did you get on the 7DB.

 

Just looked up that code 7DB and it has nothing to do with interior colors,It's the springs,I must have written it down wrong,I don't have that dark color maple,mines is only dark carmine.
Must have starred at the RPO's to long

not a problem, i thought i wasnt looking at it enough, but back to your quesstion. you want to order all your carpeted panels and such in the same color as it originally is correct? if so what ive learned is that almost 100 percent of the time the colors follow suit, if you have a grey interior everything is grey unless its a camaro then the dash is black, trans ams i think are only grey not sure on that one though. but if your interior color is dark carmine everything should be that color

 

Your right,all the plastics and the cloth trim are Carmine,the dash is Black though and the seats are Gray Cloth trimmed in Carmine Cloth.

 

the dash dont come in other colors, its the same for every car unless you decide to die it. as for the seat, im having a hard time creating a visual of that. i know its factory ive just never seen it before. pics?
