ok i have a 1992 camaro that is black with the light gray and blue interior. i am wanting to change the interior to black and gold.

i need and want pics of black and gold interiors in trans am's or camaro's. lets see them please.

Mines black and tan. Surprisingly I had no interior shots, but its no mint show car so that would explain why. Since its in the garage for the winter, this is the best I could do.

 

on a side note how common is the black and grey houndstooth interior for 91 camaros? anyone know?

 

No such thing as a black and grey "HOUNDSTOOTH" interior in the 91 and 92 models.

As far as I know, they were no so called "Houndstooth interiors" in any third gens.

Closest different interiors are the Lear Siegler interiors.

 

i see because i thought the same thing about the no houndstooth in third gens and was a little confused when i was told it was. you said lier siegler? never heard of that but then i dont know too much about interior options like that for these years

 

cool thanks. i was going to go with a midnight blue and black theme. then i got some nice floormats for christmas that are black and gold. or tan. and was thinking instead of painting almost everything i might be able to get the parts that are at least the tan color. so on with the ideas.

Im sorry one92RS, this has nothing to do with ur post, but I was reading ur thread and noticed Texascat2's sig.
@Texascat2- Did u put that blue tint on urself as a mod or was that a factory option? I bought my 90 Formula (same color-maui blue) a year and a half ago form the 2nd owner and it has blue tint on the windows and rear hatch. I just assumed that it was aftermarket, and your car is the first I noticed with the tint. (never really looked at it before) Just curious since I saw your picture.

 

The window tint is the second time they've been tinted by the same people. Curved windows are a pain to do, so I leave that to the pros. The color of the car is Silver Metallic Blue ( factory color ). The windows were not tinted by the factory when new.

 

Ok, I just saw the pic of your car and got really curious about wether it was factory or not. Thanks for the info on the tint and the color, I've heard like 5 that color be called like 5 different things and wasn't sure about that either. Thanks again.

 

You're totally welcome! I just pulled the window sticker out of my files, it says "Silver Blue Metallic" Two-tone delete. Just for the record! Ha!

Im thinking of doing the black and gold color scheme.I have the factory gold/tan interior.Im thinking of changing the carpet and headliner to black.Keeping my 4th gen leather tan seats,tan door panels and tan sun visors.Also changing to black sail panels,but leaving my cargo area plastics tan cause they are in really good shape.
Has anyone tried that?What do yall think?Worse case i can just go completely black or sale the black carpet and headliner and go back to the tan.
Just want to try something different plus the tan colors available dont really match my door panels and other stuff I want to keep.
