I have 93 trans am lumbar seats (inflatable bolsters, click adjust thigh support) based on pictures I've seen they look the same as the ultima 3rd gen seats with different headrests. I've read about using 4th gen foam to rebuild ultima seats also. I have my 3rd gen rear still. What I'm wondering is if the seat covers are interchangeable between the early fourth gen aq9s and the third gen ones (headrests excluded of course) just planning on recovering them and I'm thinking if they are interchangeable I could just order a set for a gta with solid rear and match what I have- as opposed to getting a 4th gen rear seat and ordering a set for that. Hopefully someone reading this has first hand experience with both generations of seats and will let me know. Thanks in advance and I do apologize if this has been covered before- I couldn't find it.

 

From what I could tell, only the headrests are different.
