Interior panel carpeting

Found this on Thirdgen Ranch:

Can something like this be found in any other color than black? Preferably Carmine Red? Or is it a DIY thing for any other color?

Man don't I wish. I painted my rear plastics but they still look pitted, this would cover that up nicely.

Year one or Classic Industries may have something. Can't an upholstery cut some panel carpet to match?

Personally, I prefer the clean vinyl look. I'd rather spray Mothers Protectant than vacuum.

Re: Interior panel carpeting

I'm looking for something with some give. There's going to be plenty of vinyl when all is said and done, and I'd rather not have to have a shop sew pieces of red vinyl in with the black that's already going to be on the panels. I don't think paint/dye will cut it, either. I was originally thinking neoprene, as in wet suits, but now I'm not so sure I want to do that, and I'm looking for more of a factory-ish look.

I don't think either YearOne or Classic carries the panel carpet. I've had their (Classic Industries) catalogs since 2004 and have yet to see anything like that...

Re: Interior panel carpeting

We currently offer the interior plastic carpet kits in black and gray. We're hoping to offer more colors soon.

Hmm, sounds like I may have to bust out the old construction paper and make some templates for DIY... Just need to find decent carpet .

We will definitely be adding charcoal to our site soon and probably tan. We've got our supplier working on finding some red options for us but I can't promise anything.
