4th gen seats

i put seats from a 1995 camaro and the driver's seat rocks back and fourth. it has the adjustment to slide it closer and farther form the dash like a regular seat then there's another adjuster to the right idk if that has something to do with it or not, and help would be great. i can post pics soon, i got to school 5 days a week 1 to 9 so i dont get much work done especially with no garage

Re: 4th gen seats

the other control lets you change the bottom seat angle.it may be missing the return spring.

Re: 4th gen seats

Yes, the 4th gen seats are shorter than the 3rd gens. At 6'5", I'm glad they are & one reason why I have had them in all my 3rd gens.

When I removed my seats from the salvage yard donor, I took the factory washers that were in place. I just installed the 4th gen drivers seat last night but only added one washer per bolt (as opposed to the at least 4 that were on the donor car). To be honest, if you are attaching the seat to a 3rd gen power seat track (like I did), you shouldn't notice any height difference. Lastly, although you will occasionally read differing opinions about comfort (4th vs. original 3rd). I noticed an immediate better difference with the 4th compared to my 150k 3rd gen seats.
