rear seat attachment?

removed my rear seats on my 91 with split folding rear seats. Not sure what connects the bottom inside of the 2 upper halves together. Seems like there is a ring on the inside lower corner of each seat back that a rod may pass through to connect them but can not find any hardware that matches?

The rods are attached to the body on the trans tunnel

Re: rear seat attachment?

On the inner mount, there is no bolt. Just a rod that sticks out from the body & goes into a hole in the seat.

Pull the outer nut off & that is it. The seat will come right out, leaving that peg behind.
