Three door part questions
Since I have my doors all the way apart, I want to make sure to get everything taken care of that I can:
1) See pictures below - these are the felt pieces that keep pressure on the inside of the window (there are 2 per side). The felt on mine is worn down and I'd like to replace, but any search I do just turns up the full felt sweep. Does anyone know what these are called or where I can get some? Or do I just replace the felt on these?
2) Does anyone know where I can get some of the screws that are used to hold on plastic bezel around the door lock switch? These screws have the round head with torx in the middle. I found some online, but they are $6 each and as much as I want all of the screws to match, not sure I can justify spending $24 on the missing ones. I checked local places like AutoZone with no luck.
3) Both of my inside door handles are in pretty bad shape with lots of paint flaking off. I saw that the original GM replacements were $110+, I figured I'd make them look as good as possible via sanding and painting. However, I just found that they make reproductions (see them here) that are only $10. Just wondering if anyone has purchased these and if so, how the quality is. Thanks.
Thanks for any info. Happy Thanksgiving!

Re: Three door part questions
1, try to find a good set in the jyard, or someone parting out a car. i believe theyre the same across all years/models of 3rd gens.
2, also the jyard. they use the same screws for the shifter cover/ashtray top in the camaros and the radio/hvac bezel. theres 3 in the hvac bezel and 6 in the shifter top.
3, also the jyard. or if youre so inclined, you can get some dupicolor or similar plastic paint and repaint them. just make sure the paint specifically states its for plastic. youll have to sand the handles till the flaking stops, then give them a good scrub with soap and water then dry before painting.

Re: Three door part questions
Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately, there are 4-5 junkyards within driving distance of me and total, there are 8-9 third gen Camaros and Firebirds. All have had the interior picked clean - I've been to each place at least twice looking for other interior components without luck. I know there are no consoles or shifters (so no screws), not sure about the felt window pieces. However, even if they are there I'm worried that they will be in the same (bad) condition as mine. That's why I was hoping to find new, or at least figure out something I could use to re-do them.

Re: Three door part questions
For $10 I'll send you a whole bunch of those screws. PM or email me your email address for more info or pics if wanted, Henry
Oh, and I think I have some window fuzzies too. Not new but not bad, LMK

Re: Three door part questions
1A Auto has the replacement felts for the door guides, and I believe they have a repo inside door handle too for less than the OEM one.
