Window Alignment
Hey everyone I have a 85 z28, I installed new door panels and the new seal and black piece that attached to the top of the door panel. I also had the window seal replaced on the outside of the car by a bodyshop. They loosened up the window by the bolts on top of the inside of the door to put them in. When they tightened everything back up I believe they tightened it too much because my passenger window rolls up very slowly especially when it gets to the top and it didnt do this before.....you can even see the smudge marks on the tint from where the pieces holding the window snud is too tight....Does anyone know what the proper adjustment is? or should i just loosen and try till i get it how it should be??

they probably put the window back exactly where it was, which since the weatherstripping is still new it sticks out further. you can take the door panel off and loosen everything up and readjust it.

if you have a HELM book it should be in the body section and it breaks it down by what bolts do what action. if you dont have a HELM book (not hayes) i sugguest getting one as they are miles better than the hayes book and pay for themselves quickly.
