Cable driven 145 speedo gauge

So Ive always hated my speedo gauge because it's pretty off due to the tranny and rear end being out of a z28 and a firebird. But I've been poking about and am noticing that almost all the ones I read about are 140 mph gauges that are computer controlled or something along those lines. My gauge however is the same matching colors and same print, has the correct mileage, and is a cable driven 145 speedo..it's reads 140 in big print like the other numbers then 145 under it at the halfway mark due to the numbers being In tens ( if that makes since). So I was wondering if this was rare. I have an 85 IROC

Camaro speedos are cable driven from 82-89 and electric from 90-92. The gauge you describe seems to be a typical 145 (though a pic would be helpful). However, the 145 didn't appear until 86.

Here's the 145:

BTW, with the correct drive and/or driven gears, the speedo should rear correctly.
