trans am/ GTA empty warning lights in cluster...

Anybody ever do anything with them? They look like they would be pretty easy to get operable, and im considering using them for my low oil/ coolant lights...

I would like to make them look factory. Anybody ever do this?

Re: trans am/ GTA empty warning lights in cluster...

I know when I was replacing all the light bulbs in my 87 GTA's dash, I ummm... forgot which ones weren't used. I was pretty sure I had them back in corectly when it went back together but when I started the car the SES light didn't flash in the self check when the car is first turned on. And then when I first tried driving it, I got on the road and started accelerating until BAM a mysterious new SHIFT light illuminated on my dash!! It actually was kind of neat except for the fact that since my car was an automatic, it never turned off when the car was cruising. Needless to say I took my gauges back out and swapped the lights back to their correct positions. If there only was a was to program when that SHIFT light would come on, even in an automatic car, that would be really cool to have working.
