I have an 89 formula and the metal tab that connects to the bottom of the glass on the hatch which i assume is for rear defrost cracked in half how can i fix it can i just solder back together of some type of adhesive thanks part is still attached to the window why the other half is still connected to the wire

I'm sure the only way to fix it would be to solder it,if it's the piece I'm thinking it is,it's copper so that can be soldered.
