best way to fix armrests?

I remember once upon a time finding a thread with what looked like a decent description of the best way to fix the peeling arm rests, but now that I have finally gotten to doing anything with this car I can't seem to find it.

Any advice or directions would be greatly appreciated!

Re: best way to fix armrests?

i second gorilla glue and clamps, worked great for me, just use a short board to clamp onto the armrest, keeps everything flat and turned out great, has held up for 3 years now

the write up is great also, if you want to use epoxy, obviously the stronger way to go and you use the same method essentially
