dont want my air bag light to stay on.

anybody, install a after market steering wheel, in there 90/92 camaros.
and have any probs after removing the air bag coil?

would like to know. before i do anything to mine.
the wheel install is simple..i know. just dont want to have a dash light come on, ya know.

The light will come on as soon as the bag is disconnected. the only way to stop that from happening is to take the cluster out and remove the bulb from the cluster.

cant you get that airbig stuff deleted in the prom????? i have a grant wheel on my 88 but it never came with a airbag....

Airbag has nothing to do with the ecm. Removing the bulb is the easiest answer if it happens.

if this is a fact..then there must be a way, of looping the wires to fake the air bag, is still hooked up.

just need to know what wire, sends the start up signl back, to make the light flash, them go out. like norm. aka air bag still in place
