Trouble getting the dash back in...

I had to replace my heater core when it turned my passenger well into a slime green jacuzzi. I pulled the dash back about 4-6 inches and it has been a real struggle to get it back in. It is still not all the way in properly and I really had to wrestle getting the steering column back up into place as well. The center console won't line up with the dash as a result of it being out of place too...

Now my door locks and interior lights don't work- the fuse keeps blowing.

Obviously, I have pinched or cut a wire somewhere and I will have to track it down, I know. I may just have to pull the entire dash out and sort things out, but I was wondering if any of you had run into fitment problems with the dash or if there are a couple of tricks I need to watch out for in getting it back in, locating wire harnesses correctly etc?

Also lastly, does someone have a step-by-step how-to for taking out and reinstalling the dash?

Thanks folks!

I am sorry never ran into this problem before. All I can add would be to see what is causing the problem. Maybe a mirror could help you see what is interfering.
