Add interior light
My car has the full overhead console and I have never had the flashlight so many years ago I took out the "sleeve" that the flashlight mounts in and over the years kind of used that space to hold some small stuff but never really used it. So I thought of a way of using it, add some acrylic to cover the opening and add a light behind it. I have cut the acrylic to cover the opening, and will glue it in with a little silicon and will look nice. Now I have to figure out what kind of light to put in there, I was think of an LED of some sort, but haven't found a module that would fit nice. Most things that I found would need a reflector behind, which I could come up with something if needed. The other thing is how I want to control it, I'm debating whether to have it be on with the doom light or the map light, since the map light is so weak I am leaning that way.

Re: Add interior light
LED's in the dome light itself will provide more than enough light, IMO.

Maybe I will add that first then if I don't need it I can paint the acrylic black an it will blend in.
