found some leather seats in junkyard today.. i would say itd be a killer deal if they were black or grey. but they were brown leather seats, car had brown door panels and brown carpet and plastics.. ugly interior IMO. but the seats were perfect 10/10 the drivers seat had some tears in the leather. but the foam was perfect, i sat in it and it was comfortable. wasnt folling through the seat or anything. question is. do you guys think i should go back and get these seats and sell them, or is it pretty much crap cuz its brown. ive never seen brown interior on 3rd gen before

 

Are you looking to flip them or use them for your car? If they're for your car and you like the comfort of them, buy them, have them stitched and then clean and dye them. Click on my name to go to my profile page and once there, look at my photo album and you'll see that I successfully dyed gray seats black.

 

i would use them if i can dye them. there the older style i think. there a one piece seat like 4th gens. they dont have a headrest like the ones in my 92. or i can flip them. id prolly just want to flip them tho since there not the same style that i have now, i can dye them black then sell them. might make a quicker sale

 

Sounds like an early 3rd gen vinyl seat.Most likely 82-84

 

Yep, if they're one piece, they're likely vinyl...those will be base seats (as in a downgrade compared to cloth), which aren't worth the cost to ship them if they're not in near-perfect condition. You're better off keeping an eye out for leather, which would only be in an 87-92 car.
