1st generation style console gauge setup
I was thinking about coming up with some sort of gauge setup that would take the place of the ash tray and maybe have a few rectangular gauges there instead like the 1st gen or 5th gen camaros. Has anyone seen anyone do this before or seen anyone who makes rectangular gauges that would fit?

Honestly? Bad idea. Was poor ergonomics in the 60's, and its still poor ergonomics now.
Gauges should be easily visible and legible without moving your head to see them. If a HUD was more easily done all cars should be equipped with them.
