longest sentence ever. So is your key broken off in the ignition switch? Can't a locksmith use a pick or something to get the broken half out?

Re: 92 camaro steering wheel console problem
no the key comes out and everything but when u put it in and turn it nothin happens it just turns the metal piece that catches the ignition switch doesnt catch anymore thus you cant start it the po broke the plastic around the ignition switch so it can manualy be pulled to start im debating putting in a push button start and then a kill switch then i can just leave the switch on the on position and thats it not fixed right but till i have the cash it would work i have a 83 steering column but doesnt look like itwill work
