Engine: 5.7 TPI
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: Stock 3.23's
steering wheel swap question.
ok guys i have an 87 trans am with the stock steering wheel which is nice but mine is a little worse for wear. i have a catalog from classicindustries.com and found a wheel i really like a lot but says its for 69-74. ive emailed them to see if itll fit on my car but havent gotten a response yet so turning to you guys. the part# is R3032B if that helps.

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work on a 75 or newer car....the steering columns are all pretty much the same from 1969-02 with a few minor differences. Still, I'd want some more opinions before dropping $250 on something like that.

I just replaced the wheel in my 89 Formula 350 with a Billet Specialties wheel that matches my wheels. In doing my research, I found that most GM aftermarket wheels will fit pretty much any column from 67-94, and possibly up until 02, but you should definitely get confirmation from the seller.
You might also find the wheel you're wanting on ebay and check the applications they list for it there.
