I have been playing around with the idea of buying another firebird to turn into a pure race car.

what i basically need to know for this would be the steering column. i want to get an aftermarket column that is collapsible. what are the dimensions of the stock third gen columns?

i want to find something that will fit properly. it will also have a sheet metal dashboard so that might take away some of the extra bulk of the stock one
