Passenger Seat Mod

I'm looking to replace my front seats with a matching pair, but on the passenger side I would like it to flip forward on the actual seat piece, I want to put a Sneaky Pete Nitrous system there.

Anyone know of a company that makes them or a conversion kit??

Close, Do you remember the RX-7 in the Fast and the Furious? where Vin lifted the bottom section of the seat and had like three mini NO2 tanks there, that's what I'm going for. the hidden yet custom look.

Re: Passenger Seat Mod

You can fab the bracket to make it pivot pretty easily for the cushion but remember; Hollywood makes a lot of props. I am pretty sure that no one would ever be able to sit in that seat if it was real life without damaging the Nitrous System. If you are definitely looking to do it though, take the seat bottom foam and leather cover and build a thin frame on a flat hinge and plate and mount the lower cushion and cover to it instead of the factory frame. One other thing to deal with is the fact that the floor board is elevated under the passenger seat area to make room for the catalytic converter so I still don't think you would have sufficient room to mount the bottle and valve. JMO.

Good point, I'll have to tinker around when I change out the carpet. I figured I'd have to fab the bracket. while I have the carpet out, I might see about cuting the cat hump out, I won't be running any soon so, don't need it.

Re: Passenger Seat Mod

Why don't you do the center console mod and hid it in the glove box, or maybe put it in the spare tire well for an even more sneaky place to hide it....
