Removing GTA door panels?
How do I safely go about removing the door panels on a GTA? Thanks
Re: Removing GTA door panels?
The safe way is to use tools to unscrew the bolts and screws holding them onto the door. The fastest and easiest way is to douse them with gasoline and burn them off.

Re: Removing GTA door panels?
Let me see if I remember all the steps. First, take off the door handle trim. There are 2 screws I think. One is under the little bird and the other is under the round cover. Gently pry them off so you don't mess them up. Pry off the little door lock slider, then remove the trim. Next you want to remove the arm rest. There are 2 screws in the base, and one up top. Pry off the little covers to access them. There are torx screws underneath. The next step is to pry off the door panel. Use a trim tool to pry off the clips. Now, with the window rolled down, pull up on the panel by the door rail and remove it from the door.
Good luck. It is pretty easy once you get into it. Just be careful you don't break anything, as the door panels and parts can be tough to find in decent shape.

Re: Removing GTA door panels?
That helped a lot, the toughest part was removing the black sill trim from the window because I couldn't roll my window down due to my wiring being swapped over. Thanks for the help
