1992 Firebird inside door handle replacement
I just replaced my outside door handles. Those were easy. Now the inside door handles, I'm prepared to drill out the rivets and I have a rivet gun; but what rivets do I need to install the new handle?

Are they just normal rivets that would come with a rivet gun? What size will I need?

Use nuts bolts and lock-tite with a anti-rattle material inbetween the parts.

Nope, rivit away. Put some anti-rattle stuff inbetween your handle and door so when the rivits loosen up it wont make much noise.

I'm assuming yours are bolted on now but do you happen to know if I need specific rivets for it? I'm getting mixed answers from research.

I'm bolted. Just drill one out and take it to the hardware store and match it up.

Does that mean nobody knows about the rivets? I'm not very familiar with rivets. I've actually always avoided things that involved rivets until now. lol
