STI Seats
A friend of mine blew up the engine in his '95 STI, so I asked if I could borrow the seats from it to install in my Firebird.
Just thought I'd show the result on here as the brackets were VERY easy to make and the seats are very comfortable and have nice bolsters. They could also be used with a 4-point harness.
The distance between the bolt holes front-back are the SAME as the 3rd gen seats; the bolt holes left-right are farther on the STI seats. For the brackets, I just got some 1/4" flat stock and drilled holes to mount the seats to the stock rails.

Re: STI Seats
Does he have a genuine 95 sti? Those weren't available in the US. Maybe you Canadians are luckier than we are.
Sweet swap, I'm glad to see the Subie seats work in the third gens. All you need to do is cover up that "STI" logo, and you'll be g2g!

Re: STI Seats
Yes it's actually a genuine STI, actually, the RA edition with a rally scoop, right hand drive and imported from Japan about 1.5 years ago. Definitely a fun car; about 300hp, AWD, and driver controlled centre diff (does doughnuts easily haha) in a ~2600lb car.
And naw the STI logo is soooo JDM
