hello,im looking for 85-87 saddle interior for my third gen,1987 iroc.recently acquired the original build sheet and my current interior is red and supoosed to be saddle.let me know if ya have anything that will help.thanks

 

How strange, I've never seen a car actually changed to a Red interior. Usually people are always trying to rattle can them all Black since apparently no one likes Red interiors except me.

Done right, you'll want to change the seats, carpet, door panels, seatbelts, and as much of the plastic trim that you can find. That being said, your best bet on here is probably the classifieds forum. I'd look for someone parting out an entire car that has the interior you need as piecing it together would be a very long a difficult process. Saddle won't be the easiest color to find (Gray is), but will still be easier than trying to find Black or Blue.

Likewise, if your Red interior is in good shape (and has NOT been rattle canned from Saddle), you should be able to sell it in the classifieds forum and recoup some of your investment going to Saddle.

 

HEY navyws6 (bad *** car by the way),i actually dont mind the red its just not what its supposed to have.i think what im gonna do is just by a cheap donor car with the correct interior in good shape,found couple on craigs,ets

An entire donor car would be your best bet. Alternately, you might just check the local yards near you. Pullapart here (in the south) will sell you probably all the parts you need to do the conversion for under $100, provided that you don't mind removing them yourself.

 

I swapped the carmine red interior in my 89 iroc vert to 85-86 light saddle custom cloth.It was pieced together from several junkyard cars.As said above Tan interior parts aren't too common
