My seat belts wont retract back into place. The driver side retracts a little bit from driving position but not all the way back in. The passenger side doesn't retract whatsoever. I've heard something about a recall but I don't think it's valid for 1982 Camaros. What can I do here? Any passengers have to just pretend to wear the seat belt and I don't know how long my driver side will keep partially retracting just enough.

 

Try pulling the belts all the way out,that works sometimes.

 

Well problem is the passenger seatbelt is already past the point of no return and its stuck there. Driver side is just weak I think since it doesn't pull the belt in all the way, but still enough to drive with.
