Door Panel Questions

Axle/Gears: posi trac rear
Door Panel Questions

1. Can anyone tell me how to remove the top cover on the door that is at the window? it is connected to the door panel.
2. Can someone please tell me how to remove the door weather stripping?

I have tried various means of how to remove with no success.

1. Turn the threaded washers counter-clock.
To remove the panel from the door

Just did this today and used these videos..one thing he didnt point out was that the window has to be all the way down and then you can push towards the outside of the door on the panel and lift up and it lifts right out..took me a bit to get that.

Here is a pic of the inside edge of the door so others can see the clips that hold the top plastic to the door itself. There are lips on the plastic piece that catch the circled area to hold it "locked" down. That's why you are told to pull the bottom of the door panel out about 30*, and push the top towards the window opening to release the plastic lip from the clip edge.
