Glue down new carpet?

I am going to install my new ACC molded mass-backed carpet into the 85 Camaro. Do I glue it down to the floor pan? Were the original pads over the drain plugs attached to the original carpet?

If I should glue it down, where should I put the glue and what kind of glue?

Thanks.

no glue, the carpet should be molded, so after you leave it sit out in the sun to "reform" after removing the packaging, it should fit in the wells nicely without the need for adhesive

the factory glue that the backing gets stuck to was not meant to hold the carpet down, just to cover the plugs in the floor
