Seats questions

When I ripped out my interior last summer, I accidentally threw out the rails attached to the seats.

Does this setup come with everything I would need to just drop right into my Trans Am or do I need something else?

Re: Seats questions

Does the seats themselves have the slide adjuster rails attached to them? If so, the adapter brackets, if made for the 3rdgen, should work. I'd call and find out if they are "fixed position" or not.

Re: Seats questions

Auction says this:

Fits Pontiac 1982 - 1992 Firebird/Trans AM
***Minor Drilling, Modification and Reuse of OE Hardware Maybe Required***
For Year and Model, Please Check Compatibility

Also, it says it does include the sliders.

Next questions.. would I be better off getting the seats WITHOUT brackets, and buying brackets that are guaranteed to work in 3rd gens, and if so, where can I buy those?

"Reuse of OE Hardware Maybe Required"

If you don't have the"original hardware", you're gonna need to go to the salvage yard and get those......THEN mount the seat adapters to the floor. Or mount the adapters to the seat and bolt to the floor.....forgoing the adjustment feature that your "originals" gave you.
