'85 Firebird Interior Panel / Seat vs. '83 Firebird
Here's a picture of an '83 Firebird interior... Looks just like mine, but too nice
Specifically this is the Indy 500, but the bucket seats had different head rests...

Here is a picture of an '85 I found
Anybody have speculation as to 1] Which years / models had this style bucket seat & door panel? 2] Will the bucket seats or door panels bolt up? Seems to be a pleather package.
I'm assuming the seats will bolt. Unknown about the door panels.
I also wish I could do more for my speedometer lighting. Not only is a bulb out, but it seems to be a lackluster design in the first place. LED's? Aftermarket gauges in the circle pods?
Off-topic, Wish the '83 had the instrument cluster from the '87 !

Re: '85 Firebird Interior Panel / Seat vs. '83 Firebird
Wish I had specifics, but I'd have sworn that the leather seats you show are camaro seats...although they might also be found in early (sub 85) firebirds.
I have an 85 Bird that came from the factory with two tone cloth seats with headrests (unlike those camaro seats)...I did swap a set of the pleather seats you pictured into my car, they were JUNK, decent condition but they didn't hold up and the vinyl is incredibly thin (and brittle after years of neglect). Replaced them with a set of fourth gen firebird base seats in charcoal, which work 100 percent better.
From the image of the 85' you're referencing that seems like a very base car. I had those door panels at one point too, didn't like them either...but they matched the seats, and my factory panels were beat up (but nicer from the factory than the vinyl). The steering wheel is the non-formula/GT style wheel that was leather wrapped (which is what's in my 85 base).
The gauges in your last photo look to be back lit. Removing the gauge cluster isn't that big of a pain, but there are some items that need to come out to gain access....from memory it's trim and the dash pad, but once those are out you should be able to remove the panel and replace the small bulbs on the back. That won't give you the cool backlit gauges shown there, but at least it'll get them functioning. Remember that the 85 has a cable driven speedometer, so removing the gauge panel requires removing the clip that secures the speedo cable...if not, it'll seem STUCK.

Re: '85 Firebird Interior Panel / Seat vs. '83 Firebird
I found some seat options from the dealership. Here's the seat page, note: Recaro seat option was cut off in this image. Seems those buckets were standard, so chances are they can be found in the Firebirds and TA's. I do like the bucket seat more
