Carpeting match.

I just opened my ACC carpet today to lay it out and realized it's not quite the same texture (for lack of a better word) as the original. Maybe it's the age or the cleanings it's had but the threads on the repop seem much finer than the ones in the original.

I know once I put it in & the luggage compartment trim & console are on it - it will be very obvious.

Is this the best we've got?

Re: Carpeting match.

Best I know about and what I went with :/ I mean hell, Hawks can't even friggin get the direction of the headliner/t-top shade grain in the right bloody direction! Reproduction stuff is very spotty for 3rd gens.

Thankfully I bought front and rear carpet and don't have the carpeted panels, otherwise yeah, it would be a sad match.

It's nice carpet, don't get me wrong but there's a grain (for lack of a better description) to the original that this just doesn't have.

The carpet in the hatch area picture is all original, panels too and isn't in bad condition but the front has been changed to a worse match than the ACC - I can save all of these but will need to find the front.
