Looking for replacement Seat Covers

I was wondering if there's anywheres I can get replacement seat covers to be close to OEM. I want to take the factory ones off and replace them.
I am looking for Black and it's for my 1987 IROC Z
Thanks

You mean recover the seats? I was just looking into this today myself, Classic Industries sells them.

It varies from type of material and style of seat. You should contact her and tell her what you want to get a price.

Re: Looking for replacement Seat Covers

Keep an eye on Classic Industries around Labor Day. They typically offer some nice discounts around the holidays. I wound up ordering the seat covers for my trans am from them over July 4, when that was supposed to be a Fall project.

Of course I'm already enjoying them, the install just delayed the exhaust swap on my 84 (parts been in the garage since April for that one).

Re: Looking for replacement Seat Covers

I absolutely love my lethalinteriors seats. She sent me some samples of material so I could match it to my interior. Very good to work with and top notch work. I smile every time I see and sit in them. I also recommend replacing the foam while your at it.

Re: Looking for replacement Seat Covers

Just put in a request for samples from ACME auto who makes the covers sold on Rockauto.com. They seem to be the cheapest that I've found. Also requested their leather sample just to see if I want the upgrade. Not so sure I want the velvety velour that these reproductions seem to come with (even on the back side of the seat). I'm a little disappointed I can't find an exact match anywhere for my seat. It's the one piece high backed seat with cloth and vinyl sides and back.

Hey Classic1, is there any chance of ordering just 1 piece, I need just the lower driver front seat portion in "leather" or whatever the simulated leather is.

Unfortunately, they are sold in sets. Sometimes, you can purchase just the front buckets. You may want to consider having an upholstery shop do a repair for you, if you are not planning to reupholster all of the seats.

Re: Looking for replacement Seat Covers

That's what I figured. I forgot to mention I was looking for ebony color from a 4th gen anyhow. But I'm still considering purchasing the kit you guys have for both front seats and just swapping a piece at a time as they wear. I keep seat covers on them except when I show off the car so it's not that big of a deal.

Re: Looking for replacement Seat Covers

Anybody have a recommendation for a cheap rear split seat cover?
Someday, I'll do it right. But for now, just looking for something that will fit over the top and bottom of the rear seats in my 1992 RS convertible. Black or Tan. Doesn't have to look "factory perfect".

Re: Looking for replacement Seat Covers

I have a set I just bought and only had on the car for like 3 weeks and I bought new seats. Here a pic!
There's the front covers and the back bottoms and rear split covers.
They sent me the wrong back piece as I have a full back seat.
I am away working so can't send them out until after Oct.6th.
Let me know if you want to wait that long!
$125 shipped!
