What is the name for the black piece of trim at the top of the door panels? (meets with the glass and your arm lays on it when windows are down) My panels are shot and the trim pieces have the tabs mostly broken off, planning to try to make new panels but I need to find this plastic bit before I attempt this project.

Recommend finding some good used ones or keeping your car out of sunlight.

Unless the aftermarket has substantially improved the manufacture of these top pieces, they will be wavy before end of june (maybe May in VA).

 

I just call them "the black part at the top that always tears off the upper part of the door panel and ends up permanently stuck to the door when you try to remove it".

 

That's a really,really long name
