Steering Wheel Recovered!

Hi All,

A previous owner had removed the leather from the wheel and I looked into replacement or recover and decided as I quite like the wheel I would get it recovered but try and make it look up to date.

Here is what I have had done - Perforated leather on the sides and alcantara on the top, bottom and horn.

Re: Steering Wheel Recovered!

Hi,

It was done by a specialist trimmer. It cost c$300 usd so wasn't cheapest option but thought it better to pay a bit extra to get it the way I wanted.

Re: Steering Wheel Recovered!

That looks really good. I'm also interested to know some details about this. I would like an original Camaro steering wheel but all the Camaro steering wheel designs except for that one are horrible but the original wheels are usually in bad condition. This could be a real option.

Re: Steering Wheel Recovered!

I think the stock wheel is gawd awful ugly, but this trick actually makes it look pretty darn cool. Did you want to post the name of the person/business that did this for you?
