So I'm going to sell my T56 and put an automatic back in the car. I realize this is going to be very confusing for some of you but I don't enjoy driving the car anymore with the standard. Since I no longer have the original shifter parts, my question is about what shifter I should use. I've got a complete 4th gen interior swap so should I buy a 4th gen shifter? I know they aren't exactly the same but I want to make sure there will be no fitment issues with the 4th gen pieces. I've been searching all morning and everything I find is for swapping in the console with a 6 speed, which is not what i'm wanting to do.
