Hatch plastic variances
Trying to find the right one for my 83 Firebird and finding out there were MANY variations throughout the years and options!
The cars that had the rear wiper or third brake light have the contact block on the top.
Larger center area for the electric hatch pull down cars. I know if you had the hatch popper it also needed this trim panel too. Unsure if the style varied for 82-84 & later.
Some had lights in them.
Some had slits cut for the t-top strapping.
Some were totally different to accommodate the rear hatch storage cover.
Seems 82-84 didn't use the brush-bristle insert, later years did?
And there seems to be endless combinations of the above!
Oh don't forget some were carpeted too
Ugh. Can't find the exact one I'm looking for! Just was surprised at how many differences there were.

Crazy. People sometimes complain about the way options are packaged today, but this is part of the reason why. Today you might have 4...a grey and a black, with and without power options.

This made finding a replacement for me such a pain, too.

Definitely. All those different variations and in many colors! Was nice to be able to tailor your new car to you exactly as you wanted!
