Closing hatch without power??

I'm moving my car into storage while I sell my house and finish my divorce.
I'm wondering how I can "jump" some wires to have the motor pull the hatch closed. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 89GTA

Hook the blue wire that is connected to the red/white stripe wire to +12v, ground the black wire.
