Repairing headliner board
My headliner was sagging and the fabric literally falling apart. No big deal, got the whole thing out and removed the damaged fabric.
Any ideas on how to repair the headliner board? It's kinda rough in the area where the seatbelts go through, still all in one piece, but not very solid. Just tape it on the top? Glue? Any ideas?
I'd like to give putting on new fabric a try before paying $300 for a new one..

A thin layer of fiberglass resin all over the board will strengthen it.

I found an old headboard at Pick N Pull and used the fiberglass trick on the hole back.
Then sanded the other side until it was completely smooth to the touch.
Sprayed it with adhesive and slowly unrolled a piece of nice black vinyl over it.
Came out OK. I like the black vinyl because its easy to keep clean and it matches my "Door Skins" , "Rear Sail Panels" and "Kick Panels".

I got a new one for 180.00. They can be fixed with the fiberglass method though.
