Hi i have a 1988 trans am gta with a tan interior. The carpet is cognac and i am going to repaint the plastics using the camel paint (SEM 15173). I've done a lot of research and looked at a lot of pictures and found that camel painted plastics with the cognac carpeting looks very good. I am just going to get my carpeting and seats cleaned very good because they aren't that bad and to save money too because that's always nice. My major concern is the headliner. I do't really want to replace it because its not ripped or anything but the sun visors were actually a different shade of tan and over the years of the car sitting they stained the headliner and you cant get it out and it looks awful :/ i was wondering if i painted the headliner with a fabric paint (camel) it would look good? Because i do figure if it works on carpet it'll work on the headliner. Of course last resort would just be to buy a new headliner. If it would come to that what color would best match a cognac carpet with a camel trim on the plastics? Any suggestions would be great!! Thank you!
