Anyone make a door switch panel rigid back plate?

Mine is warped from being thin plastic and conforming to the door panel shape and it messes with the door lock sliders. I am planning on making some kind of a rigidity improvement but thought I would check the landscape first.

Mine were warped as well. I think it happens with time. The new switch panels I purchased from Hawks and installed a few years ago still look good, and not warped. I would think anything thick enough to make that piece rigid might make it not fit correctly. Have you tried a new panel to see how it fits?
