A pillar trim

When installing the trim piece on the A pillar, is it easier to put the clips in the pillars/roof line then add the trim piece, or is it easier to add the clips to the trim piece and then install into the car? I've heard both ways. Your help is appreciated.

Re: A pillar trim

I have always put the clips on the A pillar and then put it on.

Re: A pillar trim

Thanks. Trim went in nicely. Nice having a headliner that doesn't sag.
