Opinion on speaker covers...

So I went to the junkyard yesterday and took the faux leather trim from the door panels. Some ones them as stepping stones over mud. So I re-purposed the trim to cover the speaker covers on the sail panels. Got most of It done. However now I'm stumped on the edge trim for the cover. I cut the fake stitched strip that runs down the middle of the panel to cover the edges. Wanted to paint those black. But I ran out of material for 2 edges (one on each side). So I cut the remaining "leather" into strips. Any ideas on what else I could use? Does anyone have any of those strips?

You where right. The sound was muffled. So now I just need to buy some more spray adhesive and glue the flaps down. I'll place some screen behind them.
