Door day...replaced a lot of stuff on the doors...

....and installed some cup holders from a newer GTA on my 1987. I also replaced the exterior door handles and sweepers and the top plastic things on the door panels.

Happy with it. The doors now operate like new.

Nice looks good! I love those door panels! Ive never seen ones with those holders in the map fold location.

My car didn't even have the map pocket on the doors. Basically no place to put anything when you get in the car other than in the center console. I would always toss everything on the passenger seat and my drink between my legs.

I wasn't sure how the cup holders would look, they certainly don't look as good as they do on the correct door panel but I figured I would try. I just had to trim a little off the bottom of the cup holders to make them sit right. I painted them with SEM paint (camel) which was as close as I could get on a color match.

If the way they look starts to wear on me I'll just get a set of 90-92 door panels but I think they look OK. Very functional. Now I can toss my wallet, cell phone and drink in the door.
