Hey all!

I'm in the process of converting my 89 Formula interior back to the look of the 82-84 model (yeah, for KITT purposes :P ). I sourced a nice 84 console, which I restored (those SEM products are GREAT!).

Is there anything I should know about the swap? Can I use my existing 89 heater controls, or should I source the older version?

Is the whole console a direct swap, same bolt locations?

Also, I noticed my "new" console doesnt have any vents around the footwell area, whereas I have some vents on my 89 console, and I've seen them on various other 82-84 consoles. Is that normal?
