Shift plate lens

Where can I get a shift plate lens for 87 gta

You can't buy just the lens. You have to buy the entire shift plate. Had to replace mine because the previous owner got cigarette burns all over it

You might get lucky and find someone who will sell you a used one off a bad shift plate, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. Try posting in the "Interior Parts Wanted" forum. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/interior-parts-wanted/

Thanks for the advice one guy had one on a sudden site but wants 40 bucks just for the lens . Classic industries ha them 1 st and 2 gens

Well forget what I said. New ones for $50/shipped on eBay. They show both the early (TH200) and late (700R4) style, so you'll want to make sure you message them and specify the later one with Overdrive. Not cheap, but still better than $170 or whatever for a shift plate assembly.
