1989 Iroc-z arm rests
New to the forum! I have a 1989 iroc-z convertible 5 speed (rare i know) that i bought brand new. 25k original miles. Black ext, grey int, black top. Like all gf the cars ive ever seen, the arm rests have peeled off. I found a new in bag/box nos driver side one (paid a pretty penny for it) and am on the hunt for the passenger side. Need a new nos one or close to it. Ive tried to repair the original ones with no luck. Trying to get the car back to like new and this is one of the very few things i need to address. Thanks!

Welcome to TGO! ...sounds like a nice car. We're going to need to see some pictures
...your request is probably better off in the "interior parts wanted" forum in the classifieds. ...that being said I have the Beechwood interior in my 89. When my armrests started peeling I too was looking, and couldn't find any. Finally bought a set of early style armrests so at least the car looked good, if not quite correct. ...finally did find new beechwood armrests but the early style was a fairly inexpensive fix for a few years. ...but don't get me wrong, I'd want my car "correct" too.

This is the best src I have found for NOS https://www.moderndaymuscle.com
Ebay...
Call Hawks and see if they have any near perfect ones.
On my firebird I heated them up so they were pliable then used 2 part epoxy to glue the vinyl to the back side... it held for a long time though I've noticed its starting to lip up again.
