Door Lock actuator

Did anyone use an aftermarket actuator. They are much much cheaper that the AC Delco actuators on Ebay. Like $20, rather than ridiculous #'s.

I wouldn't reengineer the entire thing like him. I'd just get a standard replacement... That would be my preference.
