C4 Corvette Steering Wheel

I've searched and found a couple older threads where people asked if a C4 Corvette steering wheel will fit a thirdgen and I don't really wanna bump them so figured I'd start my own.

Now let me explain! I Do Not want to put a C4 wheel on my thirdgen TA But I know that a thirdgen wheel should fit my 90 GMT400 project truck according to a truck forum. And I recently bought a new C4 wheel for my 86 C4 Corvette But the first one they sent was shipping damaged and they sent another w/o having to return the first. So now I have an extra slightly blem new C4 wheel. From what I can tell it could fit my truck But I have't found anyone who has done it.

I put a thirdgen wheel on a S-10

the columns are more less the same for all 80s GMs........as long as the hole for the clock spring thing match..and the splines line up.....it should fit fine.

I'll find out for sure when I get back to messing with the truck, when ever that will be(after my C3 is running). Think BUCK the truck is tilt steering and if so, I'll have to pull the wheel anyway to loctite the tilt bolts to fix wobbly wheel. Like I have with three other GMT400 trucks.

Just figured if someone knew for certain that it wouldn't work, I'd find/buy an aftermarket wheel this winter to kill/save time later.

I put an early model Firebird whell on and also a later 89 wheel on so that pretty much is the spectrum....I also put a wheel from a late 80s CK onto it and it fit just fine
